We are situated in Florida and our entrance is in 4th Avenue just off Goldman street next to Saint Gabriel 's Church.
O'Hanna's B&B is a Guest House of high standards with friendly, professional service and affordable accommodation for
business and leisure set in the most tranquil setting in the heart of Florida. The friendly and peaceful atmosphere
makes you feel at home - your home away from home. Come and relax in a natural well established garden designed to evoke tranquility after a hard day's work. For bird lovers, we have a large aviary and a variety of bird life in the garden.
O'Hanna's B&B has been in existence since 1998. The current owner, Betty-Ann Hendrick took over ownership in November 2006.
You will be interested to know that O'Hanna's B&B was the residence of one of Florida's first Mayors. The house and garden still retains the old world charm of yesteryear.
Our rooms have private entrances and do not form part of the house apart from one room which does form part of the house also with a private entrance. Our rooms all have individual gas geysers - this is to ensure our guests always have hot water available, especially when we have our occasional (power outages). We also have a water filtration reservoir in order for our guests to enjoy clean filtered water.
We have parking inside the property for vehicles and have secure fencing
round the property including an electric gate. The property is over 3000 square metres in size.
We offer a full English breakfast. Our dinners are on request and we also offer lunch packs on request.
We offer room service for meals.
We have 9 elegantly furnished en-suite rooms of which - 2 rooms have a single bed in each room, 2 room has a double bed and a single bed, 2 rooms have Queen beds and 3 rooms have Twin beds.
We also have a self catering facility: Fully equipped kitchen and laundry which includes a gas stove, fridge and a micro wave oven, washing machine iron and ironing board. This facility can be used in conjunction with any of the rooms the guest requires.
We offer various accommodation types: Accommodation Only. Bed and Breakfast and Self catering.
We also offer reduced rates for students, group bookings, sport groups, religious groups and extended stays for longer than a week.
Shuttle services are also available on request.
We also offer a laundry service (washing and ironing service).
We have an International Telkom card phone on the property.
Photo copy and fax facilities.
O'Hanna's B & B is registered with ROCCI (Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry) since 17 June 1999.
We have also complied with all the Municipal registrations.
