Nordin's Lodge

Nice location and fairly reasonably priced but it does need to do a website for itself so people can see what it looks like when looking for a place to stay in Tofo.

Nordin's Lodge has the most perfect location, a 10m stroll to the beach (and a big tree that provides a natural beach umbrella). You can see the ocean from your bed. The structure of the chalets is nice as well, and the staff are lovely. However the place could use sprucing up, it is functional but not aesthetically appealing. Doesn't have to be fancy (the rustic feel is nice) but simple things would help, for example touching up the inside paint jobs, getting new window/shower curtains, bed linen. I also recommend doing something about the electricity generator as the current one is very loud and spoils the vibe, though luckily it was only on for a couple hours one of the evenings. But on the whole, a great place and very relaxing - close enough to the more buzzing spots for you to enjoy the action, but secluded enough for you to have tranquil moments. Mario and everyone else who works there is very friendly and efficient, and it's nice to see a lodge run by Mozambicans. Thanks for a great time!
