Nokeng Eco Lodge is situated on 65 hectares of bushveld along the beautiful Elands River, a mere 45 minutes’ drive north east of Pretoria and an hour and a half from Johannesburg. Nature lovers, couples needing a break from city life and anyone wanting to experience the bushveld in its most pure and natural form will enjoy Nokeng Eco Lodge. The lodge is also ideal for functions such as corporate functions and team building, weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and leadership development camps.

We are absolutely committed to great service and to making your stay with us as memorable as possible. It is important to us that you leave with wonderful memories and a rested spirit. Nokeng Eco Lodge offers six beautiful stone and thatch cottages that are fully equipped for a rustic self-catering breakaway. Each cottage is totally self-contained with its own private entrance and an adjoining boma braai area.

We had a lovely stay at Nokeng. The staff are very helpful, especially Solly and Triphina. We will be back and hopefully next time we will get to meet the owners too.

The reason that I am giving it two stars is that the facility/units need some revamping for it to be more homely. On a lighter note, its a nice hide away place from the bussles of the city and is quiet tranquil. We had a good time.

Although we do appreciate feedback, I really think that your comments and evaluation of Nokeng are totally unfair. You paid for a basic chalet but we have upgraded you to the luxury unit. If you want homely, I suggest you stay at home where you can decorate it according to your liking. Every venue has a particular ambiance, that is why guests choose to go there.

It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay but all our best wishes for 2013.

Nokeng Eco Lodge is an amazing place to stay. Everything was just perfect from the cottage to the staff, the manager who was so helpful with everything, the breakfast was amazing and we got to eat at our cottage. It was bought to us. The owner is just as awesome. We will definitely be going back real soon.

Rooibos is set back from the other cottages and is surrounded by a large grass area for the kids to play on. It is also close to the volleyball court and the jungle gym. The unit features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, as well as a double bunk just off the living area. Additional beds can be moved into this room if required. The bathroom has a bath and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Karee Cottage offers two bedrooms with double beds, a loft room with two single beds and built-in couches in the living area that can sleep two extra guests. The bathroom is creatively unusual and the kitchen is fully equipped. In addition, there is a private boma area outside looking out into the bush where you can barbecue. Although Karee is quite close to the neighbouring cottage, it is screened by trees and pleasantly secluded.
