Ngandu Hotel and Casino is situated in Rundu town, with a pristine view over the Kavango River's southern wetlands and riverine forest. Ngandu offers budget to luxury accommodation, as well as a main restaurant and bar, a swimming pool, three conference halls, and 32 campsites. Ideal for overlanders, backpackers and campers, activities include boat cruises, walking trails, village tours, and tribal dancing.

Ngandu was built on an old demolished military base which was in full operation during the War of Independence. This facility today bares no resemblance to the war period and the natural fauna and flora has recovered beautifully, with Ngandu hosting a large collection of aloe species which can be found in Namibia. The hotel is a stern supporter of community and environmental based projects, and is also actively involved in recycling to reduce its carbon fibre footprint.

This was a booking for 19 people and I tried several times to make arrangements in terms of breakfast and laundry and to date I have had no feedback, the group staying in the Hotel are riders doing a ride in associasion with the UN and all their experiences etc. will be braodcasted and I can honestly say that the service received was pathetic and both the riders and organisers was not impressed! We will not be making use of Ngandu again.
