Newlands Homestay has a peaceful ambience and is located in a quiet oak tree-lined avenue in the heart of Newlands. The establishment has two rooms with private entrances. Both the Pool Room and The Annexe have twin beds which may be converted into king-size beds if required. The rooms are well appointed with quality furnishings and fittings. The bed linen is of a high standard and the en-suite shower bathrooms are newly appointed. Our guests have use of the garden, patio and swimming pool to their leisure. Facilities in each room include wireless Internet access, satellite TVs, microwaves and bar fridges. Rates are inclusive of a Continental breakfast.
Newlands Homestay's tranquil garden attracts a wide variety of bird life including guinea fowl and Hadeda Ibis, not to mention the many squirrels which can be found hastily burying their acorns as winter approaches. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the University of Cape Town, Newlands Rugby and Cricket Grounds and Cavendish Square shopping mall are all within short distance.

The Annexe has twin beds which can be converted into a king-size if required. There is an en-suite bathroom with a travertine floor and wall tiles. The entrance is accessed from a private patio garden where there is a table and two chairs for the use of our guests. The antique washstand may be used as a dressing table or desk, depending on our guest’s requirements. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle and toaster, as well as satellite TV and Internet connectivity.
