Description

Our farm is situated on the banks of the Breede River, 15 km from the town of Robertson and 15 km off Route 62. We have a variety of accommodation which includes the Manor House, a B&B Room, Rondavel and our Summer Bush Camp.

Our Manor House is the genuine old farmhouse. Absorb the old ambience of original family heirlooms collected over generations. There are three bedrooms; one has a double bed and en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom has twin beds; and the third bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower, a lounge with twin beds, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The Rondavel is a comfortable cabin that is great for a family. There are three bedrooms; one has a double bed; the second bedroom has twin beds; and the third bedroom has one single bed. There is a family bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a comfortable lounge.

Our B&B Room has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bar fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The Summer Bush Camp comprises five semi-permanent units that are made of wood and shade cloth, and situated on the banks of the Breede River. Four of the units sleep two people. Three of them have double beds, one has twin beds and the fifth unit sleeps four people with a double bed and twin beds. There is no electricity and there is a chemical toilet and a shower in each unit. There is also a lapa area equipped for cooking or braaing.

Come and enjoy a lovely hour trail consists of a 1 hour river trail, where you can enjoy the bird life and the seasonal wetland in the winter. There are 7 wild lynx’s and the very shy fresh water turtles or even a hour trail up the mountain and through the vineyards, where you can enjoy a view of the valley below.
