We would go back there again...
We stayed for about a week in a self catering cottage. It was perfect for us. There is good security (being a South African that is important to me), the cottage was clean, there is a nice braai area and patio. Dennis went out of his way to help friends of ours with accommodation that came down for the weekend from Johannesburg. They were just as impressed. Very relaxing.
The excellent evening meals cooked by Ortrud were a relief from the inevitable creamed spinach and butternut squash fare of the restaurants in Sandton.
Very relaxing. The availability of (free) ADSL internet access also made the less relaxing part of my stay more productive, a very pleasant alternative to being in Joburg over the weekend.
