Facilities

Muweti Bush lodge is a small intimate lodge accommodating eight guests. Four in the tented camp, which consists of two tented chalets each sleeping two people, and four in our self-catering cottage. The positioning of the tented chalets gives a truly unusual sense of fusion with the bush, and an opportunity to sleep in close proximity to the wilds of Africa.

The cottage on the other hand gives you an opportunity to do your own thing on a self-catering basis while still having access to facilities at the lodge. Children under 12 at the lodge by special arrangement only.

We would absolutely recommend Muweti Bush Lodge. My husband and I just returned from four days spent in one of the tented chalets. The accommodations, food, bush drives, and personal attention were above and beyond anything we could have expected. Mike and Laura were exceptional hosts, and the experience of "living in the bush" was amazing. We truly hope to return again.

We stayed one night in January 2012. We found it very great. Mike is a very nice ranger, who explained the wildlife and animal behavior very well. The only little problem was one couldn't drive because of hard rain and we had teenagers with us. But Mike helped us a lot.

Words cannot begin to describe how awesome Muweti is. The hospitality was too wonderful. The game drives - sho, I'm overwhelmed with joy as I type this - if only we had stayed longer. We really had the best time of our lives and we are coming back soon! Thank you so much Mike and Laura. Mpho and I had a blast, thank you.
