Facilities

Mountain Chalet is a self-catering unit situated on a farm in Kleinfontein, about 15 km from Brits. The rustic and well-equipped chalet offers accommodation for up to eight people. It is ideal for a family looking for a quiet vacation in the bush, but still has many activities to enjoy on the farm.

The chalet is basic, but has a comfortably furnished living area and a fully equipped kitchen. It has electricity and a security system. Positioned completely separate from the main buildings, the chalet offers amazing views of the surrounding bushveld. The wildlife on the property includes giraffe, buck and ostriches.

Guests will need a bakkie to reach the chalet, but the owners will happily drive guests from the main house to the chalet if they have a normal sedan car. There is safe parking at the main house for guests’ vehicles.

The farm offers a large number of activities to keep guests entertained and the kids busy. Guests have use of a large fitness centre with gym equipment, a punching bag and a table tennis table. The property has a swimming pool and tennis courts, and the farm has a large dam for fishing.

I would like to compliment the hosts on a stunning space. I completely relaxed and enjoyed the location. We saw all the animals (zebra, giraffe, springbok, Donkey, Ostrich)

What a nice relaxing place to go to - totally isolated, with only the bush and fresh air around you. The patio and long table outside are awesome, and the built in braai came in very handy in the rain. The second outdoor toilet is also unique, and rather handy when there are two couples. We will be back - very good value for money. Colleen
