Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve is situated just to the east of Graaff-Reinet in the heart of the Eastern Cape's Great Karoo and offers an exceptional Malaria Free safari experience in a region steeped in history and culture.
This 14 000 hectare or 35 000 acre property lies cupped in the palm of the "Sneeuberg" Mountain Range the second highest range in South Africa.
It provides guests with a unique game viewing experience due to the combination of four biomes and an altitude range of almost 5000 feet.
From the bush thickets and riverine areas to the plateau grass plains with the backdrop of the majestic mountains that make every game drive a breath takingly beautiful experience.
There are three Cape Dutch homesteads which have been meticulously restored to celebrate a fusion of traditional curves and modern open-plan living spaces, every room has been furnished with the most luxurious textures and materials creating a relaxed elegance that allows our guests to feel at home.
Between the three Manors there is a combined total of 12 spacious double bedrooms each on-suite one of which is a secluded honeymoon suite that captures the charm and offers a truly romantic destination throughout the year.
Full length swimming pools at each Manor cool guests in the haze of high summer, while boma dinning, game drives and guided walks conjure up the magic of days gone by.
The sheer stillness and fresh air at mc is also highly conducive to successful executive brain-storming. A fully equipped and dedicated conference venue accommodates up to 24 delegates in air-conditioned comfort with pre arranged day excursions being an optional extra.
