Welcome to Morrungulo Bay, a beach lodge development situated at Morrungulo located approximately 580 kilometres morth of Maputo at Morrungulo Beach, Inhambane Province, Mozambique.

Morrungulo Bay offers fully equipped, fully serviced, secure luxury self-catering beach houses and chalets right on the beachfront. The units are elevated some 20 meters above sea level and enjoy beautiful sea views, balmy evenings and romantic moon rises which are truly spectacular.

Location: If you love long beach walks, coffee on the veranda while the morning sun rises over the sea, family fun on the beach, fishing, balmy tropical days and a great time with friends and family, Morrungulo Bay is for you.

Beach: Morrungulo has one of the most beautiful beaches in Mozambique. Skip down the dune onto the magnificent clean and wide beaches. Take long beach walks along the shoreline, follow the curve of the bay. Travel 1 km to buy fresh fish from the locals.

Family: Morrungulo Bay does not have a swimming pool area however we can offer your kids a large 3.6 m Intec port-a-pool to cool off on those hot tropical days. An additional once-off charge is applicable.

Great Outdoors: The Morrungulo area offers you a magnificent diving experience. Visit Scuba Galaxy at Bonito Bay 3 km from us, or Dive Morrungulo Dive Centre next door to us.

Outstanding Views: Nothing but the tropical Indian Ocean in front of you. Wake up to to the sun rising over an azure blue sea, sip cocktails in the evening as the evening becomes night and the Morrungulo moon begins to rise out the ocean.

Relaxation: Morrungulo Bay is far from the madding crowd - no noise, no stress. Relax, unwind and enjoy the sound of the surf on the offshore reefs and shoreline.

The chalet has two spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom comprising shower, toilet and double vanity basins. The bedrooms open onto a large sea-facing veranda, as does the central living room which links to a large fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a lock-up store-pantry. These are four-sleeper units but can be set up to sleep a maximum of six persons. The set up for six persons is best suited to two adults sharing a room with a child. There is a comprehensive inventory in each unit to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable. The chalets are serviced daily.

The place was gorgeous,very tidy and peaceful.Beach was nice and secluded,no speed boats,quads etc, which usually destroy the peacefulness of a place. we loved it.we have only 1 concern, there are no air cons or fans, it got too hot to bear the 42deg weather.
This is by far the best holiday ever!!!!!

we were welcomed with open arms and antonio and constance made us feel at home. They went out of their way to make it special for us. With out them things wouldn't have gone so smooth. We loved Johny's bakery just up the road with his fresh Portugese rolls every day. It was very save and the whole atmosphere were magical!!!!!!! we loved the privateness of the beach. We will definitely go back again and take our friends with us. Thank you mark, pikkie & kids.
