Mooiplasie is a self-catering establishment in the newly acclaimed game reserve of Dinokeng, just north of Pretoria. It is popular amongst families, school and church groups as well as companies for midweek and weekend breakaways.
We offer a selection of accommodation options in dormitories, Rondavels and chalets. Three of the units are dormitory-style and consist of single and bunk beds. Each of the dormitory units has nearby ablution facilities, braai areas and basic amenities such as cutlery and crockery and a fridge -freezer. These units don't come with bedding and you will need to bring your own, unless an arrangement is made during booking.
There are two Rondavel units with double beds and twin beds. Each unit has cutlery, crockery and a fridge-freezer. A private wood and gas braai area for is set amongst a rocky outcrop which adds a bit of romanticism to these units. Ablution facilities are close by.
Two chalets are each equipped with a double bed, two single beds, as well as two single mattresses in the loft. They are ideal for a family with kids and their friends. Each chalet is equipped with a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as other utensils necessary to prepare scrumptious meals. Each unit has its own gas and wood braai facility set in a private entertainment area. Set between these two chalets is a private boma for both units’ use. A private shower, toilet and washbasin complete the setting for each unit. A larger two-roomed chalet has a double bed and a bunk bed, as well as its own toilet, shower and washbasin. The unit is fully equipped with a small kitchen area as well as a gas and wood braai facility.
Activities include mountain biking trails and bass fishing, but please bring your own equipment. Other facilities include table tennis, volley ball if you bring your own ball, karaoke, a swimming pool and a trampoline.
This dormitory has single and bunk beds. The unit has an adjoining lapa with a braai area and picnic-style benches and tables. A fully fitted bush kitchen with fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery and all other utensils completes the unit. Ablution facilities are next door.

Rates are subject to change according to requirements. Please note accommodation is sharing accommodation for groups, family reunions, team building, church and school groups. If you are not prepared to share you will pay the full tariff per hut.
