Monwana Lodge is a four star exclusive game lodge, consisting of six luxury suites. The lodge is run in a friendly, homely atmosphere encouraging guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
Monwana Lodge is situated in the Thornybush Game Reserve, which shares common boundaries with the Greater Kruger National Park and is approximately 11 000 hectares in size. This is big 5 country in the heart of South Africa's pristine bushveld.
Monwana Lodge is located on the perennial Monwana River. The waterhole is strategically positioned so that animals are always within view. The Monwana river is the ecological backbone of the Thornybush Game Reserve, flowing briefly after heavy rains.
Thornybush Game Reserve is well known for its abundance of game. There is a great diversity of animal and birdlife with over 56 mammal and 300 bird species.
