Description

Monte Christo Family Resort is a holiday resort situated on the slopes of the Olifantsrivier Mountains just outside of Porterville.

The resort offers mainly camping facilities but also has self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation available. The property offers 4X4 trails, hiking trails, birdwatching and mountain biking opportunities. The farm has direct access to a hiking trail leading into the gorge where you are welcomed by waterfalls and swimming pools. Monte Christo is also an ideal function venue for weddings with a difference.

Monte Christo is only 4 km from Porterville that attracts paragliding and hang gliding enthusiasts from all over the world when the active sky and powerful thermals provide ideal conditions for cross country flying.
