Facilities

Accommodation at Montagu Manor is in true Cape country house style, in a turn of the 20th century Victorian villa with wide wrap-around verandas, fascias of lace and pressed steel or Oregon-beamed ceilings. Owners, Allen and Sherrill Castley, offer comfortable and restful accommodation, old-fashioned hospitality and friendly personal attention.

Guests will be accommodated in tastefully furnished double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, separate entrances, tea and coffee-making facilities, heating and air-conditioning. We accommodate children with pleasure and we are pet friendly. Montagu Manor also has a TV room with satellite access.

A delicious country-style breakfast is served in the spacious dining room. Guests will be centrally situated within walking distance of all amenities and a number of excellent restaurants. The accommodation establishment offers secure off-street parking on the premises and all guests at Montagu Manor enjoy free entry to the famous hot mineral springs at the nearby Avalon Springs.

I had quite a relaxing time at the manor and would recommend it to people who wants to get away from the hectic citylife and need a place to unwind.

Breakfast was great and the owner was nice. The room was a reallydisappointment. The info said beautiful furnished double bedrooms, lace and so on but we ended up in some kind of very simple cottage. Must have been an old maid room or something. It was not a real bathroom and there was no fridge. The fan didn´t work. I will not recommend this and will put it down on my page at internet unless you have an idea or info why the info on your homepage dosen´t come true?!
