At Monate our unsurpassed dining experience is designed to tantalize your taste buds, specializing from venison to vegetarian dishes, served in different settings, such as our unique natural cave, in the open bush or around the lodge campfire. All delicious and carefully prepared meals will make guests feel right at home. Monate’s private game reserve is set in 1839 hectares of bush, open plains and a variety of interesting koppies – home to rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodiles, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, brown hyena and a variety of antelope. Professional guides keep guests intrigued during early morning and afternoon game drives. Choices are endless; Horse trails are extremely popular and thoroughly enjoyed by beginners and experienced riders alike. Frolic on the trampolines or play a round of swing ball. The fully equipped air-conditioned centre can accommodate all seating styles with breakaway rooms and en-suites.
