Facilities

This family-friendly lodge is ideal for those seeking an adventurous escape or wishing to reconnect with nature. Mohale Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore the rich and natural splendours of Lesotho’s Mountain Kingdom. Mohale Lodge has a fine reputation for good service and friendly staff.

We have a variety of accommodation options to suit guests’ needs; there are 21 Main Lodge Rooms with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, telephones, TVs with DStv, and air-conditioning; there are 48 Accommodation Wings which are split into two blocks each consisting of 24 standard rooms; and there are four Two-bedroom Private Homes and three Three-bedroom Private Homes.

We have a lovely main restaurant and lodge bar, and we provide room service, a laundry service and babysitting facilities. There are lovely activates to be enjoyed such as squash courts, tennis courts, a volley ball court, mountain bikes, pony rides and Mohale Dam boat tours.

The lodge is easily accessible by good roads and offers one of Africa’s highest and most inspiring scenic drives. Driving past traditional villages in this almost surreal mountain landscape, one encounters blanket-adorned local tribesmen riding mountain ponies.
