Nestled in a mountain valley, our unique location provides the ideal outdoor getaway. Mofam River Lodge is located in the stunning, peaceful Elgin Valley yet is close enough to Cape Town to enjoy the many tourist attractions as well as the wine regions. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside amidst picturesque mountains, the calming flow of the lake, and warm hospitality.

Mofam River Lodge currently offers 10 Standard Chalets at the lodge and three private self-catering river chalets. We also offer a variety of activities for guests ranging from water skiing, wake-boarding, canoeing, bass fishing, quad biking, hiking and the very popular sunset barge cruise. In addition, Mofam River Lodge is a popular venue for weddings, team building and corporate functions.
