The luxury one bedroomed cottage is ideal for a couple or family with children. Serviced on a daily basis and is fully equipped for your convenience. The cottage is available on a self catering basis or breakfast can be included. The bedroom has a dressing room and the en-suite bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower.

There are two additional day beds in the lounge/living area. Baby cot and third bed is available on request. There is also an additional guest loo.
The fully equipped kitchen also has a washing machine. However, we do offer a 24 hour laundry service.

The comfortable patio overlooks the mountain. Under floor heating throughout. TV and DVD in the lounge/living area. Hairdryer, fan, wall safe, international plugs, pool towels supplied.

Luxury ground floor en-suite rooms with bath and walk-in shower have direct access into the garden via the private patio and entrance. Some rooms have twin and other king-size beds. All rooms have TV, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, international plugs, fan, under floor heating and a wall safe.

Two family rooms – one ground floor suite with a queen size as well as a twin bed and a small fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower and the patio overlooks the mountain. The other extremely large family room is accessible via a private staircase and has two double beds – suitable for a family or two persons travelling together and who enjoy having a double bed each. The bathroom has a shower only and the small kitchenette has a microwave and fridge.

The Reception, breakfast room and some guest accommodation is situated in the main house, but have direct access either from the garden or a private staircase.

We offer free internet access and wireless network for laptops. We have a large saltwater swimming pool and barbeque facilities for guest use. Secure off-street parking. Children welcome. Baby cot and high chair on request.

We cater for all dietary requirements - vegetarian, Halaal, English and Continental as well as special kids breakfasts. Please inform us of any special requests.

Breakfast is served from 08h15 -10h00 in our breakfast room or on our terrace under the majestic Milkwood trees (depending on weather). Coffee and teas are complimentary and can be enjoyed by the guests at all times.

The Beach is 5 minutes away, and there is a shop within walking distance. Walk to the Village Centre on the scenic seafront cliff path or drive by car. Airport transfers, taxi, car rental, shark and whale watching trips, golf and much more can be arranged for you by us. We have a great knowledge of what is happening in Hermanus and the surrounding area and what you as our guest would like to see and do.

Enjoy mountain hikes or walks on the seafront cliff path. Cycling, birding, golf, beach, wine tasting, penguins, shark cage diving, whale watching in season, Nature Reserve and Botanical gardens all within easy reach of Milkwood Lodge.
