Description

Meteorite Camping is located 3 km from the world’s largest meteorite, the Hoba meteorite, in the district of Grootfontein in Namibia. Meteorite Camping is an affordable campsite, situated at the Farm Venus, ideally situated approximately two hours’ drive from Etosha National Park and the Waterberg Plateau. It is the perfect stop-over location on your way to the Caprivi or Kavango region and Bushmanland.

We offer six spacious concrete camping and lawn stands with water and electricity. The luxury bathrooms are neat and clean, with both hot and cold water. Fire wood is also available on request. Guests and kick back and enjoy the lovely sunsets over the mountains of the Otjihaenene valley, and are welcome to make use of the swimming pool. The entire campsite is safe and secure and is surrounded by electric fencing for guests' peace of mind.
