Description

Mermaid is a Guest House situated in the popular town of Struisbaai near the Southernmost Tip of Africa. Eight en-suite rooms with sea view ideal for the holidaymaker. We have a fully-icensed A-la-cart Restaurant, comfortably seating 40 people and indoor braai. We also cater for business meetings with a conference facility for 26 people. There is also a swimming pool to relax in during the summer days.

We are with walking distance to the main swimming beach as well as all other amenities. Visit our famous working lighthouse, historical harbour, the southernmost tip of Africa. For the more adventure loving there are whale watching, deep see fishing, wind surfing and hiking. Come and stay were the Indian and Atlantic Ocean meet.

Die ontvangs toe ons gearriveer het, het jou sommer dadelik tuis laat voel. Dis 'n pragige en vriendelike tuiste, het dit baie geniet en alles is so mooi. Die ontbyt was uit die boeke uit en ek het heerlik geëet. Die gasvryheid is eerstklas en ons kon nie vir beter gevra het nie. Sterkte en alle voorspoed vir die jaar wat voorlê. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were within walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfasts were divine, the rooms a pleasure to return to, and our friendly and helpful host made us feel at home. We shall definitely return.
