Melkbosstrand Apartment is a fully furnished, two-bedroom apartment in an upmarket complex and only a stone’s throw away from the beach. The complex has a communal swimming pool for all guests’ amusement. The apartment is equipped with a well-appointed kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a bath, as well as all linen and towels, a single garage and a parking bay.

Melkbosstrand is the gateway to the West Coast and is nestled between numerous reserves and conservation areas. The beach has lawns ideal for picnics and braais, as well as great spots from which to enjoy the spectacular view of the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy long lazy strolls along the vast stretches of pristine beach and indulge in a bit of whale spotting in the spring, with the warm white sand under your feet and the tide rushing up to meet you.

The Melkbosstrand flora consists of two major veld types. This unique fynbos can be seen flourishing in the spring when the village and its surrounds are smothered with an unbelievable variety of colourful wild flowers.

For those leading more active lifestyles, there are hiking trails in the Koeberg Nature Reserve and a range of outdoor activities such as 4x4 trails, surfing, jet skiing, sailing, kiteboarding, fishing, cycling, mountain biking and golf. Melkbosstrand has a very safe slipway for boat launching and has its own N.S.R.I. base.
