Facilities

McGregor Cottage and Camping is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of Citrusdal. The fully equipped cottage lies at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by beautiful gardens, citrus orchards and the Olifant's River close by.

The cottage accommodates up to six people and comprises a bathroom, an extra toilet, a kitchen, scullery, and a living and dining room with a large under cover patio. Located within walking distance from the river, the cottage also features a barbecue and patio set outside where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. In addition, the farm also offers five campsites set amongst the trees for those who prefer the great outdoors.

Citrusdal is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and lies nestled between the Koue Bokkeveld and Swartberg mountains. Citrusdal and its surrounding area are very popular with hikers and mountaineers, with the incredible grandeur of the Cederberg offering moments of solitude and contemplation, as well as some unique and rugged hikes to suit all levels of fitness.

Such a beautiful campsite, right next to a small stream and beautiful green grass. The ablution facilities are basic, but are in the outdoors and rustic which gives it a charm. Great activities; river to swim in (which is crystal clear) and hiking trail starting right from campsite. Hospitality 5 star and great that our 3 dogs were accommodated with a smile!
