Description
In the middle of the African bush, McBride's Camp is one of the best places to stay in Kafue. Chris and Charlotte’s passion are lions, and Chris has written three books about them. If lions are heard during the night, you can take the opportunity to track them early the following morning.
Our traditionally chalets are built almost entirely of natural materials available in the area. The camp has eight thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms and an open dining room with spectacular views over the Kafue River. We also offer five campsites for guests on safari. The setting is tranquil, remote and rustic.
The camp has a bar licence. However, visitors may bring their own alcohol/carbonated drinks for which there is no corkage charge.
Guests are welcome to spend a couple of nights in our Bush Camp to experience nature just as the early explorers did.
