Facilities

Matt’s Rest is set in a tranquil garden setting and offers self-catering as well as bed and breakfast accommodation in the quiet surburb of Hayfields in Pietermaritzburg.

This recently established accommodation consists of two self-catering units that comfortably sleeps seven people or three and four people respectively. The two bed and breakfast units sleep two people in each unit.

We have available accommodation for the forthcoming comrade’s marathon and the exciting royal show.

A very enjoyable stay. Very neat and clean. Rita, Grant and their son Matt are very nice people. I would definately stay there again. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool and the play area. Close to highway, mall and shops...its really a home away from home.

Although the car park was full when we arrived, there was a peaceful atmosphere and we enjoyed our stay. Rita and Grant made us feel very welcome. The room was tastefully furnished but very practical for a family with enough storage space. It was a blessing to have Gertie to clean each day - thank you!
