Description
A privately situated cottage with veranda overlooking a dam which attracts local birds and two eco-friendly apartments all with stunning views of the Maskam and Gifberg Mountains, located 6 km from N7 and 10 km from Vanrhynsdorp, we offer warm hospitality, good service, comfortable accommodation and delicious meals. It is the ideal place to unwind and a welcome oasis for travellers on the N7.
During winter and spring, the farm is a kaleidoscope of color with flowers. The pH level of the soil is what makes this area so unique for a diversity of flowers including the Nama-Karoo flowers, such as succulents, mountains Fynbos, as well as rare species of bulbs. Mountain bikes are available for the sporty individuals, and a wonderful trip can also be made through the veld on horseback.
Children will love the pony and trekker rides, as well as the various farm animals to interact with. The mountain can also be accessed on foot or by the 4x4 route.
