Description
Masihlangane campsite, which means "Come together" or "Kom bymekaar" is certered around the family on holiday. Here everyone has something to do and everyone do it together. Campsites are for people who bring their own caravans and tents for a care-free no hastle holiday in the open veld away from the concrete jungle. The campsite is situated on top of a hill alongside the N2 overlooking the ocean with breaker views.
Our animal farmyard is nearing completion and "city slickers" can interact and feed the animals. Daily egg collections keeps the kids entertained and they can participate in the mucking up work to win the "shotgun" seat on the donkey cart. We are in the process of acquiring a donkey cart and donkies to pull it and they will ferry visitors to and from the beach daily. Shorter donkey cart fun rides for the kids and parents is also available.
Sliding down a hill on a cardboard box is another way the kids can have fun. The Old Fashion Tug of War game where all fathers and kids join in is held daily in the afternoon to gives mums a breather and R&R time. Music and sokkie/langarm can be enjoyed while having a braai at the braai area where eight drum braai's with lights for night time relaxation is for all to enjoy. Staff will be available on request to do the cleaning up and laundry.

Fun: Games: Skipping ropes, hoola hoops, pin the donkey and hop scotch to entertain the kids.
Beach: Walking distance 600m to the beach and 2.9 km drive from the main swimming beach.
Family: Donkey cart trips to the beach, Jukskei, Pet farm, Tug of war games, Dart's, junior disco nights, Lang arm dance nights and lots more.
Food & Gastronomy: Our braai area has a chef and kitchen assistant available to help in the preparation, cooking.
Great Outdoors: Nature trails for bird watching, butterflies, leguane, partridges, duiker and bush buck, fish eagle, crested eagle and the yellow billed, fireflies and a special trail into the forest area is planned.
Pets Permitted: Pets are allowed, they are as much part of a family as can be, but special request should be made to accommodate those animals that are to be housed in kennels.
Outstanding Views: Stunning 180 degree sea/breaker views, sunrise and sunsets. Whales are seen, up to ten pods, between May and December every year.
Working Holidays: Kids can partake in the not so nice aspects of the running of the farmyard and earn the right to sit in the drivers seat of the donkey cart.
