Mashovhela Lodge offering accommodation just north of Louis Trichardt in the Soutpansberg Mountains of South Africa is almost giving away its accommodation this summer.

The summer holidays, Christmas, New Year are once again upon us and to celebrate this time Mashovhela is offering great specials on our full board rate, which includes all meals plus an activity on the reserve per day.

From now until the 20th December 2009 and then from the 1st January to the end of February we are offering an amazing 30% discount and a 20% discount for the Christmas period 20th December to the 31st December 2009

Mashovhela is not only a great destination for the whole family, but it is a great springboard to explore the spectacular Soutpansberg Mountains, Venda, along with its authentic culture, northern Kruger National Park and Mapungubwe World Heritage Site to mention a few of the areas landmarks.

Our 10 intimate en-suite chalets, decorated by Ingrid Hahn, have a unique ethnic feel, whilst offering complete comfort and privacy. Children are accommodated in our family friendly units. The call of bush babies, the hooting of Giant Eagle Owls and chirping of cicadas and frogs will break the silence of the night whilst you stretch out on our luxurious "king size" or twin beds. From your own private veranda surrounded by "Mugabe" walls you can enjoy a cocktail under the African sun, whilst watching the Black Eagles returning to their nest.
