Mashagadzi Bush Lodge

Description

Formerly known as Ibhubesi Safari Lodge, Mashagadzi Bush Lodge is a self-catering lodge in Marloth Park. With easy access to the borders of Swaziland and Mozambique, you are close to some of the most amazing and unexplored dive sites in the world.

After an adventurous day of sightseeing, return to the tranquility of the comfortable lodge to rest and relax. Whilst sipping on your favourite drink, you can watch the wandering game as they pass through the garden surrounding the lodge. Cook your meals in the well equipped kitchen or have a traditional bush-style barbecue in the boma outside. Study the amazing stars as they twinkle above the dark African bush. Finally, settle in for the night whilst listening to the magnificent roar of the African lion.

Marloth Park has a filling station, liquor store, butchery, hardware store, curio shop, bakery and two cafés. The Bush Centre has a very nice pub that offers reasonably priced meals and drinks. They also have a lovely pool area for patrons. For the golf enthusiast, you will be very close to the world-famous Leopard Creek and Skukuza golf courses. Birding is an absolute must at Marloth Park with a huge variety seen without having to leave the lodge. To date, more than 300 species of bird have been identified in Marloth Park.

Check-In  02:00 PM   Check-Out 10:00 AM

Bush stay to remember
Lynne Ferriman, South Africa
24 December 2011
What a wonderful way to view our amazing South African wildlife. We had a wonderful holiday in a comfortable lodge with an abundance of game to view. We were lucky enough to view the Big 5 from the border fence of the Kruger Park and had daily visits from warthog and zebra. We would definitely come back as we had a fantastic stay.

When we arrived getting into the premises was very confusing with all the locks & doors. Fortunately it was still light as people will battle in the dark. Accomodation is average, the gas on the water ran out on the last day but no problem.
Very pleasant

Very pleaseant stay, private and secluded. All requirements were there and no problems. Also very close to the Crocodile River and viewed lions, rhino and elephants from the Marloth Park side and also very close to the Kruger Gate. We would go back again.

Our stay was very nice and quiet. We had zebra and warthog visit every day, which was nice for my overseas guests.
Very nice lodge

Stayed at the lodge during my visit to SA for the World Cup. It was the only detour we made to visit Nelspruit and it was well worth it. Very nice lodge and not far from the Kruger Park. Thanks again!
