Description
Masgobe Lodge is situated between Hectorspruit and Komatipoort in Mpumalanga. The lodge offers two separate camps that have four and 10 chalets between them.
The Bush Camp has four different rooms; three of the rooms have four single beds and one room has a double bed. All of the rooms have private bathrooms with showers and they all share a big kitchen, braai area and a lapa with a dining area.
The Main Camp has eight bedrooms and two chalets. There are six bedrooms with twin beds and two bedrooms with double beds. One chalet has one bedroom with a double bed and the second chalet has two bedrooms; the first bedroom has three single beds and the main bedroom has twin beds. Both chalets have a kitchen and dining area and all bedrooms have private bathrooms. They all share a big kitchen, dining area and a braai area with a bar.
Masgobe Lodge offers game viewing, nature walks and elephant back safaris. Things to see and do in the area include hiking Gods Window, the Pinnacle view point, Bourkes Luck Potholes, the Echo Caves, Mac Mac Falls, Berlin and Lisbon Falls, Blyde River Canyon, Sudwala Caves, Graskop and the big swing, Shangana Cultural Village, Pilgrims Rest, mountain biking, hot air ballooning, elephant interaction and skyway trails. The Kruger National Park is only 9 km away.
