Description

Mari's Cottage is set in a large secure property in Melmoth and offers 13 spacious cottages, sleeping a total of 32 guests. Each cottage features a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathrooms, and a veranda with panoramic views overlooking the beautiful valleys around Melmoth.

Guests can choose from a self-catering option or meals can be prepared on requested. Come and switch off while you absorb the timeless peace and privacy of Mari's Cottage.

Good birding walks adjoin the property and a large fig tree, in the beautifully landscaped garden with waterfalls, is a haven for African Green pigeons and other birds. We also provide conference facilities, ideal for small conferences and workshops.

We are located close to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve and Ophate Game Reserve, with other places of interest nearby including the historical sites at Ulundi, Kwazulu Cultural Museum, Ondini, Dingaanstad/Umgungundlovu, Emakhosini Valley, Valley of the Kings, Ukamba, Isandlwana, Rorkes Drift, Blood River and Nkandla Forest.
