Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay and the lodge was of the highest standard. Great food, good company and a great place to visit. Thank you very much to the Van der Nest family which made us feel at home since the minute we arrived at the lodge. We can highly recommend this place if you want to have a great African experience...

Description

Bordering the Kruger National Part expect to have all types of visitors during your stay. Wild animals roam the premises and we pride ourselves in the abundance of animals in the reserve. More than 300 species of birds have been identified in Marloth Park, a birdwatchers paradise. Marloth Park is a proclaimed Nature Conservations Reserve (1500hs) that shares a +- 17km border - the Crocodile river - with the Kruger National Park, situated between the Malalane and Crocodile Bridge gates. Maqueda Lodge and Bush Camp allows you to be absorbed by the peace and tranquility of the African Bush, whilst enjoying high standards of comfort and decor. With 4 luxury en-suite rooms we ensure no overcrowding as we accommodate only 8 guests,Surrounded by bush, you can relax on the numerous wooden decks or cool down in a splash pool, enjoying a refreshing drink. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchens or enjoy a barbeque in your own boma whilst gazing at the star filled sky. Book one of the many exciting game-drives available in an open 4x4 game vehicle and expect an experience of a life time. Mozambique: Book a fishing trip in the unspoilt waters of Southern Mozambique.
