Manico Camp is situated on Inhaca Island in Mozambique, surrounded by clear blue waters and coral reefs, making Inhaca a popular diving, snorkelling and fishing destination. We offer one-bedroom log cabins, bush cabins, a tent camp, and campsites with power points and ablutions facilities with hot and cold water.

The camp features a fully fitted kitchen with ample freezing facilities, and we are in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and pubs that serve excellent seafood dishes. Several recreation activities are available in the area, including deep-sea fishing, fly-fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, whale watching, hiking trails, and daily trips to Portuguese Island.

We had a lovely stay at Manico camp, which is a wonderful, peaceful and very clean place to stay! Really really nice owners, who were very willing to help with whatever we wanted to do. I would suggest everyone to go there, to enjoy a nice relaxing stay, with great activities such as sea swimming, snorkeling, island visiting, etc...

My mom, boyfriend and I stayed at Manico Camp from the 29th Dec until 2nd Jan. We had the time of our lives both at the camp and whilst touring the island. We had a very warm welcome from Hester and her son, as we arrived on the island they were already waiting for us. The boat dropped us at the camp itself. After a long boat trip, we were famished. Hester's kitchen staff prepared us a meal and we started our day with a trip to the village. We found the other guests very nice as well, we all got along and planned daily events together such as trips to Portuguese Island and Santa Maria (as it can get very pricey if done solo, so travelling costs were split amongst us). And of course Hester, her husband and 2 sons were very helpful with the organization of everything (transport etc). Thank you very much to everyone at Manico Camp for such a great stay. Even when we encountered problems, they were very helpful and understanding. We will definitely be seeing you again in May. May you all have a great 2014. God Bless.

The camp is situated at a walkable distance from the beach but is around 2km away from the jetty, there is no mode of transport. Vanessa is very sweet and helpful, the hospitality is awesome. We saw people who have been coming from years regularly which tells how nice the place is. Only drawback is that they don't have a proper power back up, and also careful with your valuables, one of our friend lost his iphone which we left in the room.

For our reunion, this turned out to be the best weekend for me and my boys. , The hosts were very welcoming, made us feel at home and really entertained us to their best ability. The tour around the island and to the lighthouse was the best, having to see the local bars and the people on the island really made it special, experiencing a different life from the city life we are used to. The venue was kept clean at all times and the bar, was just awesome. Our sea food platter meal prepared by the hosts was just too good not to mention, having never finished a platter on my own. Then they made sure that our return trip was perfectly coordinated after we requested we wanted to leave early to experience Maputo before heading home. Overall, this was a very special and an unforgettable outing we ever had. We thank The host for the hospitality given to us. Big up!
