About Manico Camp

Manico Camp is situated on Inhaca Island in Mozambique, surrounded by clear blue waters and coral reefs, making Inhaca a popular diving, snorkelling and fishing destination. We offer one-bedroom log cabins, bush cabins, a tent camp, and campsites with power points and ablutions facilities with hot and cold water.

The camp features a fully fitted kitchen with ample freezing facilities, and we are in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and pubs that serve excellent seafood dishes. Several recreation activities are available in the area, including deep-sea fishing, fly-fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, whale watching, hiking trails, and daily trips to Portuguese Island.

We have spent 2 nights there and we arrived by gvt ferry. There was a lot of South Africans with us who have not reserved but took the full control of the place and the managers were overwhelmed. As they stayed only one day we enjoyed our second day with attentive service of Theresa and Norman.

We spent 5 days here, and it was simply awesome. The owners were fantastic hosts, the hospitality was simply awesome, and we were made to feel like we were at home - if our home was an island paradise that is.The accommodation is great. Simple, but very clean, hot showers, a great kitchen for self catering, and a bar serving awesome food. The camp has a fantastic location for relaxing and watching sunsets! We would definitely visit again.

I would suggest everyone to go there, to enjoy a nice relaxing stay, with great activities such as sea swimming, snorkeling, island visiting, etc...
