Description

At Manaar House, visitors have the choice of bed and breakfast accommodation or the self-catering option. All the B&B bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with air-conditioning, telephone, Internet facilities and individual satellite TV. Each room is en-suite (separate bath and shower) and is equipped with a minibar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. All units have their own private entrance.

There are two self-catering units at Manaar House. The large, luxury apartment can comfortably sleep four people (king-size bed and two singles beds) with a double sleeper couch downstairs for an additional guest. The apartment is air-conditioned and is also fitted with ceiling fans throughout. There is a DStv decoder for satellite TV in the unit with a TV set downstairs and one upstairs as well. The apartment is equipped with telephone and ADSL (Broadband) Internet facilities. The kitchen is well appointed and fully-equipped. The second self-catering apartment is smaller and consists of a double bedroom (king-size bed), en-suite (shower only) and a fully-equipped kitchen with under counter oven, hob and microwave. This unit has satellite TV, telephone and Internet facilities are also available.

Apartments are serviced daily and a laundry and ironing service is provided at a small additional cost. Should you wish to spoil yourself, breakfast can be prepared for you and enjoyed on the patio by the pool. The swimming pool area is for the exclusive use of guests. Secure, under cover parking is available for guest’s vehicles. Manaar House is a three minute drive away from the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of Umhlanga. The International Conference Centre (ICC), and Durban International Airport are a twenty minute drive away by car. A first world hospital is a five minute drive away. There are several world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity.

Our stay was refreshing and very comfortable. The guesthouse mangers were extremely well organized, friendly, professional and catered for our every need and accommodated us with a late check-in. The accommodation is much more spacious and luxurious than the pictures reveal. We arrived after a long flight from U.K We had a lovely welcome from Mark, who showed us to our room.We were very pleased with our accommodation.The next morning we had breakfast in wonderful surroundings and Mark gave us lots of advice on where to go and what to do whilst in Durban. We had a great stay there and nothing was too much trouble for Mark and his staff, they were excellent. Thank-you
