The River Lodges offer modern, self-catering and serviced accommodation which is perfect for larger families, groups of friends or even couples that want an affordable getaway where they can relax in peace and serenity.

The River lodges are part of the 5 star Maliba Mountain Lodge collection, which offers luxury accommodation, gourmet restaurant and bar and conference facilities. The River Lodges are ideal for special interest groups including 4x4 enthusiasts, bird watching, hiking, mountain biking or for corporate team building escapes.

Guests can be accommodated in one of four private, thatched, river lodges. Each river lodge is self-contained with a modern kitchen and separate lounge/dining areas. They have an open wooden deck with river views. There are four bedrooms with the master bedroom being en-suite. The remaining carpeted bedrooms are upstairs. Under-floor heating and electric blankets create a comfortable living environment for guests during the winter months.

We spent the last weekend in the most beautiful setting in Lesotho. We had previously stayed at the Lodge which was super luxirious but this time took the family with to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The decor is lovely and the views super. Also very warm with all the modern heating even though it was seriously cold. We had dinner at the hotel and our compliments must go to the chef. who even made a birthday cake for Jody. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Stayed just one night and wish it had been more. The River Lodges are superbly fitted out and the main lodge is brilliant. The view from the eating area is simply breathtaking. Their website doesn't do this place justice. Also, the road from the main road to the National Park gate is now tarred, making access easier. Only downer is that you need to book dinner in advance - we arrived late not knowing that.

Absolutely refreshing and enjoyed tranquility. Access to the park daily should automatically be included in the purchase price as I felt that was hidden costs. Beautiful place none the less.
