Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay! Very easy to organize activities last minute. I have been to other cultural centers that feel quite forced but Malealea continues to have an authentic feel and does a great job with the local community.

What an experience. Love the pony rides, village tour, and hospitality of all the people in and around the village. The views are awesome and we learned a lot about the people of Lesotho. Will be back in 2011.
Easter Weekend at Malealea Lodge, Lesotho

Our stay at Malealea was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend Easter weekend. We did the overnight pony trek and although it lived up to its name 'rough and tough', it was a great experience! Advice to future pony trekkers: wear sunscreen and be prepared to be sore in places on your body you didnt know existed! Thank you to the owners for making a home away from home in such a beautiful location.

We spent 2days 25& 26 Dec at Malealea. The staff was very friendly, and we got exactly what we went for, quiet, rest, and stunning scenery. We were surprised that there were not many South Africans. At a very reasonably price you can have a great holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
