The Main Conference Centre can seat up to 300 delegates “Cinema” Style. This modern structure is a slight departure from the African inspired theme of the other buildings at the lodge. However, the artistic vision has not been compromised. The architectural creativity can best be seen in the ceiling which allows natural light pooling without the sun beaming down on you. The venue can be partitioned into 3 smaller venues that can house groups of 20 or more delegates in size. The piece de resistance has got to be the massive deck that runs along the front of the building. The views are inspiring and would awaken even the toughest “anti conference” heart!

And for those who are not predisposed to adrenaline pumping through their veins; the bird life is rich and varied. Be on the looking for the Fish Eagle as well as Swallows.

Maguga Lodge is the ideal stop-over to exploring Northern Swaziland. The acclaimed Ngwenya Glass factory is within 30 minutes drive. The Peak Fine Craft Centre in Piggs Peak offers wares from Likhweti Kraft; Coral Stephens Hand Weaving; and Tinsaba Crafts. All products are the result of various community based projects aimed at empowering the local women. Maguga Lodge is people about people and truly invites you to stay a while.

It is the place to stay. Friendlly people and excellent service. The trip on the dam was awesome! Accommodation in the rondawels is very comfortable and housekeeping makes your stay a warm place. This was our first bike-trip to Swaziland, but definately not our last. Well done, Maguga !!!

A peaceful place to relax, but have to admit the resturant service was poor. Had to fetch the bill ourself as the waiter was occuppied with other things and to top it up we had to change our order 3 times as they run out of food.
