Hell’s Gate describes the location of this grand battle, the channel between Inhaca Island and the dunes of the Santa Maria Peninsula. Your boat journey through the endless channels of the bay ends on the Lodge’s private beach. From here the beauty and magic become more and more real. Walkways snake through the cool forest and bring you to the Lodge’s main building, inviting you to relax and become part of the calm. Location: If you enjoy nature, this is the perfect place. From the Fish eagle's wake up call in the morning to dolphins playing only metres away from the beach. We are situated on a secluded peninsula, surrounded by the Indian Ocean and natural dune forests.
Beach: Untouched beaches are right on our doorstep. We have it all - easy swimming beaches with no waves, beaches with lots of rock pools and big waves, and even plain beaches with big waves and no rocks - all of them clean and empty.
Honeymoon Romance: We offer private rooms with amazing views, lonely secluded beaches and dunes, and private picnics in the middle of the ocean on your very own sandbank. A sunset dow cruise with delicious cocktails can also be arranged.
