Mabuya Camp

Mabuya Camp is Lilongwe's premier backpackers lodge and campsite, with beautiful gardens to camp in and a swimming pool to dip in. Not forgetting our great bar and restaurant, the camp is the perfect place to unwind after a long bus journey from Lusaka or for picking up a safari tour around Malawi or to Zambia's South Luangwa National Park. The camp offers hot showers, cold beers, delicious food, and a gorgeous swimming pool. Mabuya Camp also offers an Internet café with Wi-Fi, a book exchange and we can assist with advice for your onward journey.

A wide variety of accommodation to suit most budgets is available. Our A-frames are thatched stand-alone structures that can accommodate up to two guests, the chalets also accommodate up to two guests, and for the budget traveller we offer dorms or camping. If you have your own vehicle, we offer shady pitches where you can park your vehicle and de-dust. Alternatively, there are large green areas where guests can pitch a tent in the shade of one of the many trees.
