Follow the old ox wagon trail from De Rust (Paul Cluver wines) to the historic Compagnies Drift Farm in Botriver (Beaumont wines) or simply picnic beside the ruin of a 17th Century Toll house in the MaLplaas reserve and enjoy their lovely wines! |

Description
MaLkop on MaLplaas - the mad house high on a hill on a funny farm in Africa. Comfortable, creatively appointed and considerately equipped thatched house surrounded by farmlands, river, dams and private nature reserve. A secluded spot for wicked weekends away, fooling about with family, friends and dogs, or for those in search of stillness and solitude. MaLkop is exactly ONE hour from Cape Town, six minutes from Bot River, twenty minutes to Hermanus and a comfortable drive to local beaches and neighbouring villages. A secluded retreat for academics, writers, artists and musicians; a safe and loving environment for older guests and women of all ages. Private, peaceful, unpretentious and you can be as MAD as you like!
