Lyn’s View is a rustic 100-year-old stone cottage overlooking the river which, for the first time ever, is being made available for short term holiday accommodation. The cottage is situated within walking distance to Lappies Baai, a coffee shop, steak house, pub, bottle store, and a café.

The cottage can accommodate up to eight guests and comprises three queen-size bedroom and two living areas with a TV, DVD player and fireplace in the sitting area. There is also a barbecue area on the river-side of the cottage for relaxed entertaining.

Character: Rustic stone beach cottage over 100 years old.

Beach: Located just a 10-minute walk to the Blue Flag Lappies Bay Beach and Goukou River mouth, with direct access to the river from the front garden.

Family: Shallow swimming in river channels in front of the cottage for children who are able to swim - under parental supervision.

Great Outdoors: Canoeing, swimming, fishing, sailing, boating and birdwatching are all available from the doorstep.

Historical & Cultural: The cottage falls under the Heritage Council and can not be demolished, modified or changed without permission.

Outstanding Views: Enjoy dramatic sunsets over the Goukou River and views of "Little England" on the western bank.

Relaxation: Forget the hustle and bustle; although close to amenities this cottage gives one the feeling of having left it all behind.

Self-catering cottage comprising a main bedroom with a queen-size bed, a second bedroom with twin beds and a third bedroom with twin beds and one single bed. There is also a single bed in the TV room. The cottage features a bathroom, an outdoor shower with hot water and a separate toilet, and the kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, and double oven with gas hob. Linen is provided but guests are asked to supply their own towels.
