Luwombwa

Located on the banks of the Luwombwa River, Luwombwa Lodge is in the western half of the Kasanka National Park near the airstrip. The prime attraction is the river. Unlike most rivers, the Luwombwa is a gentle meandering stream heavily fringed with evergreen forest.

The lodge offers three secluded en-suite chalets; we are ideal for private group bookings or family breakaways. The open, thatched dining area on the banks of the river is where breakfast and lunch are served.

This park boasts an amazing biodiversity and prolific bird life. It is also well known for the bat migration, the largest mammal migration in the world. The park is very accessible throughout the year. A network of all-weather roads still make it possible to view the beautiful area during the rainy season.
