Description

Lushof Lodge offers safe accommodation with plenty of open spaces where kids can enjoy themselves. Our farm is ideal for bird watching and long, peaceful walks in fresh farm air. A long distance soaring centre as well as a nature reserve, golf course, bowling green, fishing and sailing is just few kilometres away (Gariepdam). We have 2 separate cottages from the main house. Our larger cottage is situated on the side of our mountain behind the farm house and the smaller cottage is situated on our dam wall. In both cottages all linen and towels are provided. All meals are served in the privacy of your cottage. Dinner consists of Karoo lamb, vegetables, rice, roasted potatoes and desert. A cooked breakfast is served. Coffee, tea, juice and rusks for your enjoyment.

Upper Chalet (dinner, bed & breakfast or self-catering) contains the following. 2 bedrooms; 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds . An open plan kitchen and lounge. A single bed as well as a sleeper couch in the lounge. The bathroom is with a shower, toilet and wash basin. Braai facilities (Barbeque facilities) and a beautiful view ideal for star gazing. Heater and electric blankets are provided during winter and fans during summer. Housekeeping is included. The Lower Cottage (dinner, bed & breakfast) is a cosy little cottage which used to be an old mill house. You can sleep in a little piece of history. 2 single beds, small fridge, a toaster and a kettle, bathroom with a shower, toilet and wash basin. Heater and electric blankets are provided during the winter and fans during summer. Housekeeping is included.
