Description

Hermanus is built along the shores of Walker Bay near the southern most tip of Africa. Magnificent mountains watch over the town which is home of the Southern Right whale. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view whales from the best land based whale watching destination in the world. This excellent holiday home is situated close to the ocean and within walking distance to the town centre with panoramic sea and mountain views.

Up to 8 persons are comfortably accommodated in this four-bedroom, self-catering house that also includes a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining and sitting area leading onto a seafront balcony, and private barbecue. Each of the five en-suite bedrooms has a double bed and single bunk beds for kids. The house is well-equipped with satellite TV and DVD, and towels, linen and cutlery are provided.

The property is properly fenced and offers a safe environment for our visiting families. The caretaker of the house, occupying the second house, provides our foreign visitors with practical local information and tips to make their visit pleasant and can be instrumental in arranging transportation, and bookings.

The house is centrally located within walking distance to the centre of town and just 200 metres from an ocean tidal pool. Hermanus also offers great beaches, mountain walks, a famous craft market, as well as many fine restaurants. It is also a wine lover’s paradise, with nearby vineyards offering wine tasting. For golf lovers, Hermanus offers the opportunity to play at two top golf courses.

A minimum daily rate of R1000.00 applies for bookings of more than 3 days, weekends including. The minimum daily rate for booking of just 2 days, being over weekends, i.e. Friday and Saturday is R1500.00. These fees includes accommodation for up to six adults. For each additional adult, to a maximum of eight adults, a daily rate of R250.00 (per person) will be levied. No extra charges apply for children under the age of twelve.

A refundable breakage and key & remote deposit of R500.00 is payable to the caretaker”
