An Excellent place to relax for the Week-end


The staff are outstanding and on the ball when it comes to service. The accommodation is out of this world. The enviroment for the June period in the year, is still very abundant.

Description



Lianshulu Lodge in the East Caprivi overlooks the Kwando River and is situated on a private concession inside the Mudumu National Park of Namibia.

LOCATION
On the Kwando River, in the Mudumu National Park, 150km west of Katima Mulilo, 45km south of Kongola and 55 km north of the Mamili National Park (Linyanti Swamps).

ACTIVITIES
Safari Lodge, Wildlife, Game Drives, Walking, Photography, Birding, Boat Cruises on the Kwando River. All activities are conducted by some of the region's most experienced, resident naturalist guides.

ATTRACTIONS
For the prospective guest to Lianshulu Lodge, the attraction will be found in a quintessentially African experience, blending exceptional service with superb scenery and a fascinating array of fauna and flora.
Lianshulu was instrumental in founding the Lizauli Traditional Village, which allows visitors the opportunity to experience unique traditions and culture.
Many typical savannah species occur in the area, including Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Waterbuck and specials such as Roan, Sable and Oribi, with Elephant and Hippo being particularly abundant.
Of the 400 species of birds occurring in the Caprivi, some of the most unusual species include Western Banded Snake Eagle, Bateleur Eagle, Fish Eagle, Pygmy Geese, Lesser Jacana, Purple Banded Sunbird and the African Golden Oriole.

FACILITIES
The stylish accommodation embraces eleven generously spaced, individually styled and tastefully furnished chalets, each with a private bathroom and secluded, outside viewing deck. A fringe of dense riparian forest offers shade and ensures complete privacy.
The airy thatched dining, lounge and bar areas open onto spacious, split-level and raised wooden decks, affording sweeping views over the Lianshulu lagoon.
Lianshulu Lodge is renowned for its traditional flair and creative kitchen. Sumptuous meals are prepared by a professional chef and are served at elegantly set tables, under a wild fig tree.
Two romantic fireplaces, an African curio shop and secluded swimming pool enhance a complete safari experience.
