Description

Lewi Hotel and Resort is located on the lake side of Hawassa, beside the fish market where the Sidama people celebrate their new year, and a few minutes’ walk from the heart of the city.

We have a total of 58 rooms; there are 15 bungalows and 43 rooms which are broken down into seven Large Garden View Rooms, 14 Luxurious Bungalows, one Luxurious Family Suite Room, seven Luxurious Lakefront Rooms, 22 Luxurious Lake View Rooms, one Presidential Elite Bungalow and six Single Garden View Hotel Rooms with single beds, an en-suite bathrooms and lovely garden views.

The Garden View Rooms have double beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers and balconies overlooking the garden. The bungalows have circular beds with built-in CD or DVD players and speakers, en-suite bathrooms and private barbecues. The Luxurious Family Suite has a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom offering a steam shower and bath, and both bedrooms have king-size beds. The Luxurious Lakefront Rooms are the nearest rooms to the lake and they have private gardens on the lake side. The rooms have double beds and en-suite bathrooms with steam showers. There are also private balconies with breathtaking views of the lake. The Presidential Elite Bungalow has three bedrooms, a private balcony, a steam shower, Jacuzzi, kitchenette, living area, lovely views of the lake and a barbecue area.

Lewi Resort and Spa has a traditional touch to its design and it is an environmentally friendly resort which makes it unique. The construction is made on the natural landscape of the place. No trees were cut down and all still exist as they were, even inside and next to the building. The majority of the rooms on the lake side were designed with a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking vista of the lake. There is a cultural restaurant, wine bar, storytelling place, souvenir shop and a spa to allow you to experience the rural Ethiopia.
