Simply the Best
What a fantastic time Mark and I had at Leopards View. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts Ann and Neil. I'm glad we stayed five nights (even though that wasn't long enough) to enjoy the accommodation, surroundings, the view, the delicious food and the smiling faces of Iris and Lucia. We still have a rush of adrenolin when we talk to family and friends about our experiences at Leopards View. This was our fourth holiday to South Africa and we ... more

Wonderful experience
We are back home and cannot stop telling our friends about the lovely time we spent with you at Leopard's View. As you know, we have been to numerous game farms and lodges, because that is our preferred holiday destination. Your lodge had all the elements wrapped into one. The accommodation was most comfortable and "complete", you two are the best hosts anybody can wish for because of your natural friendliness. Of course, Ann's cooking, or shall I say haute cuisine, takes the cake (exc ... more

Pure Bliss!
This is the second time for us at Leopards View, and this time around it was pure bliss! Congratulations to the new owners, Ann & Neil for transforming Leopards View into an even more magical place to stay! The accommodation, viewing deck and the general living areas have been upgraded. Five Stars! There is no better place than Leopards View to sit on an evening, enjoying a good glass of wine, watching the sun go down and the various game coming to drink from the waterhole. We are ... more

African Safari
The Leopard's View emphasis is on being in the bush and enjoying the wildlife of the "Big Five" Greater Kruger Park. Game viewing is from the Lodge or the viewing tower, focusing on our waterhole and bird pool. Drives and walks can be arranged.

Relaxation
Leopard's View is a wonderfully peaceful, relaxing and low-pressure place that has a genuine sense of escape. In essence, the Lodge is about being in the bush, watching, listening and enjoying, with little to link us with the outside world.

Description
For peace and tranquillity in the heart of the African bush, for close contact with the animals, birds and plants that occupy this part of the Balule Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park, and for luxury and comfort at the same time, Leopard’s View is the place to stay. Established for ten years, the Lodge was completely refurbished in 2008 to create quality accommodation that blends into the surroundings. We have just three spacious rondavels, each with its own character but all beautifully appointed, and can accommodate only six people, perhaps eight if our two child beds are used. So Leopard’s View is exclusive…. but it is not expensive. The focal point of the Lodge, with its fabulous hilltop location, is the viewing deck, dining and bar area, which affords an unparalleled view of our waterhole in the valley below. Relax, watch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush and let the animals come to you. All this plus great food and a warm welcome from Neil and Ann Kern, who are the owner/managers. Leopard’s View is about being in the bush but there is also plenty to do by way of organised game drives or walks in Balule (pre-booking advised) or visits to local attractions or the Kruger National Park. There is easy access to major roads and regional airports. This is a special place, with a magic of its own, for those with a love of Africa and its wildlife.
