Our stay was most enjoyable except for the fact that a large party of other guests were very noisy (children shouting etc) and we could not fully appreciate the quietness of being in the bush. We were also most disappointed to find that we had no water let alone hot water in the morning and we wanted to shower before leaving. We left quite early (8am) and there was no one around to report this lack of water to.

Description
Leopard Creek Private Conservation Reserve is just 3 hours drive from Pretoria. Set in the magnificent 'malaria-free' Waterberg Mountains, this lodge and reserve offers a feeling of space and freedom and its bountiful wildlife and plantlife provide an intimate relationship with nature.
Eight beautifully set lodges, overlooking the Tamboti River offer scenic views from every private balcony. Our facilities include, a pool, bar, traditional lapa for a braai under the stars, a large well-equipped communal kitchen with all conveniences, large dining area and a covered deck complete with comfortable sofas with splendid views over the river.
Bird watching, walking trails, viewing hides and game drives are on offer. There are more than 30 plus species of mammal on the reserve, and around 290 bird species in the area.
You can do as much or as little as you want here. Plus there are many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area.

| Small wooden lodge on stilts with magnificent views overlooking the Tamboti River. All bedding and towels provided. All rooms have either en-suite bathrooms or private toilet and shower-room.
