Description

Le Marina is a newly built large double-storey house located on the deep water Marina on Admiral Island, Port Owen, 140 km from Cape Town.

The upstairs area consists of two large air-conditioned bedrooms with full en-suite bathrooms and is utilised as the bed and breakfast. Both bedrooms lead onto private patios overlooking the waterways. Guests also have access to a private hospitality bar and TV lounge, as well as a covered barbecue patio. We also have a deluxe air-conditioned double bedroom with en-suite spa bath and a double volume shower on the lower level which is private and has direct access to the swimming pool, garden and jetty - this is ideal for guests who would like to bring their small and friendly four legged friends for a visit or guests who have difficulty negotiating stairs to the upper level.

In addition, La Marina features a swimming pool and jetty where guests are welcome to use the kayaks and rubber duck to explore the Berg River and beyond.

Although we were disappointed in the yacht club and restaurants, plus things to do and see, including the weather, we had the most wonderful accommodation ever. The service, being on the canal, and the friendliness of Kevin and Sally were out of this world which made up for the time spent in Port Owen. Very romantic. I would give this a thumbs up for a honeymoon couple for sure. Thanks Kevin and Sally, not forgetting Misty for the entertainment.
