What more could one ask for!
We were looking for a weekend accommodation to visit the Helderberg Wine Festival. Lazy Lizzards was the perfect find, lovely modern accommodation with a beautiful braai area (bbq), terras, garden, swimming pool and not to forget - amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Hans and Anja made us feel right at home and were very helpful in advising us about the area. Simply perfect!

Koi pond in secluded courtyard. Secure undercover packing. Lazy Lizzards is a modern, vibrant and relaxed self-catering cottage, offering all the comforts of home within easy access to all the major attractions that the Western Cape has to offer. It can accommodate 2 adults plus 2 on a sleeper couch. Laundry facilities / service at extra cost.
Artists and tour guides, Anja and Hans, have many years of experience in the tourism industry and are more than willing to share their information and knowledge of the area with guests. Anja & Hans offer “rent-a-local” tour guiding to suit your personal needs. Enjoy wine and food tasting to various wine estates, lunches and dinners at local restaurants and venues. Anja & Hans will give advice on local specials. Visits to local markets for arts & crafts and slow foods. Adventure sports are on offer with equipment and lessons. Wake, kite & surf boarding SA champ wake boarder Kyle is on hand to guide and give advice.
The house and cottage are connected and can be rented as one unit. Maximum of 12 people (4+8)
